I was blessed to join (via ZOOM) the folks from Audire (Central Florida Foundation for Spiritual Direction) for their year-end contemplative retreat. The Spirit was palpably present among us even though we were physically separated. My thanks to the Audire team who ventured to undertake this ZOOM retreat and who cared for all of us with such grace.

The feast of the Immaculate Conception is moved to today from December 8 which was the Second Sunday of Advent this year. We celebrate Mary conceived without sin; Mary, mother of God, who pondered what could this mean and said “yes” without understanding.
